I had the joy to shoot the most breath-taking elopement inspiration in Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington. The views were absolutely incredible! This styled shoot was put on by the Shootout Society – an organization designed for creatives to capture creative out-of-the-norm weddings + elopements. I am so excited to share with you this gorgeous mountain elopement! I myself have ditched the traditional method and gone for a more intimate and adventurous elopement in the fall. I love to show my couples the endless possibilities of eloping. There are so many locations, views and setups that make for an incredible day to remember forever! Let’s dive into this Washington elopement!
The elopement was at a quaint, black A-frame cabin nestled along the banks of a river in Backwood, Washington – right next to Mt. Rainier National Park. The ceremony was setup right on the porch of the cabin with a luxurious + feminine display. Down by the river banks was an elegant + glamorous dining table setup, along with a luxurious couch and lounge set up to hang out by the river. The views from the river bank were incredible with the Mt. Rainier on one side, and the gorgeous A-frame cabin on the other. I started to think I need to plan my own elopement right here, right now!
First, I captured the amazing detail shots. I absolutely loved the intricate table setup. The light pinks and neutrals made for a perfect color scheme.
Once the couple arrived, they got married on the A-frame cabin porch on the intimate setup. They then went down to the lounge area by the river banks to hangout, love on each other, and enjoy the views of Mt. Rainier.
When the sun went down, we were able to capture incredible night-light shots. There were candles going up all the way to the entry of the cabin. The couple sat and did some star-gazing under the clear night sky. The stunning elopement had a cosmic feel to it with her celestial-inspired wedding dress and the millions of stars above in the sky. I loved how her star-studded gown flocked with twinkling embellishments. It sparkled all night long!
The couple ended their wedding evening with a campfire along the river. They were able to enjoy one another’s company and stargaze. I love the laid-back feel this mountain elopement had! This elopement is meant for the couple who wants a laid-back and intimate wedding day, but still wants a luxurious wedding experience!
